Who we are
This website is provided privately, not commercially.
Principles
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss law (revDSG) and – where applicable – the GDPR (EU). The use of the website and in particular the transmission of data via forms is voluntary and at your own responsibility. Please do not transmit sensitive information (e.g., health data, ID or account data, passwords).
What data we process
- Technical usage data when accessing: IP address, timestamp, requested page/resource, referrer (if transmitted), user agent. Processed for provision, stability, and IT security (log files).
- Contact form / e-mail: Contents of your message as well as the contact details you provide. Please only send the information necessary for your request.
- Calculators / tools: Entered values (client-side); if calculations are performed server-side, the necessary inputs are technically processed.
- Cookies / local storage: Only technically required entries (e.g., language settings). No marketing/tracking cookies without explicit consent.
Purposes and legal bases
- Website operation & security (log files, abuse prevention): legitimate interest / necessity.
- Processing contact requests (answering your inquiry): contract/initiation or consent.
- Calculators / tools: fulfilling your request or legitimate interest; results without guarantee.
- Consents can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Recipients and third countries
Technical service providers (e.g., hosting in Germany) may have access to data within the scope of data processing agreements. A transfer to countries without an adequate level of data protection only takes place with appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) or legal permission.
Storage duration
We only store personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes or as required by law. Log data is regularly deleted after a short period; correspondence from contact requests is deleted after completion of processing and in compliance with statutory retention obligations.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data. Please note that communication by e-mail may generally involve security risks.

By using the forms or sending information, you decide for yourself about the type and scope of the data transmitted.
You are responsible for the content of your submissions and must ensure that no third-party rights are violated.

arising from data transmissions initiated by you, from input errors, or from the use of the provided calculators/tools.
Note Switzerland (Art. 100 OR) / Germany (§ 309 No. 7 BGB): A limitation of liability for intent/gross negligence as well as for personal injury is not permitted.
Your rights
- revDSG (CH): Access; data disclosure/transfer (in case of automated processing and with consent or in connection with a contract); rectification; deletion.
- GDPR (EU, if applicable): Access (Art. 15), rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (Art. 21), data portability (Art. 20), withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 para. 3), complaint to a competent supervisory authority.
No obligation to provide personal data
Use of the website is generally possible without providing personal data. If you do not wish to transmit data, please refrain from using forms/e-mails or anonymize your request.
Jurisdiction and applicable law
Swiss law applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of other countries remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction – as far as permissible – is Bern, Switzerland.
Changes
We may adapt this privacy policy if necessary. The current version is authoritative.
