Status: {{15.08.2025}}

Who we are

This website is provided privately, not commercially.

Principles

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss law (revDSG) and – where applicable – the GDPR (EU). The use of the website and in particular the transmission of data via forms is voluntary and at your own responsibility. Please do not transmit sensitive information (e.g., health data, ID or account data, passwords).

What data we process

Purposes and legal bases

Recipients and third countries

Technical service providers (e.g., hosting in Germany) may have access to data within the scope of data processing agreements. A transfer to countries without an adequate level of data protection only takes place with appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) or legal permission.

Storage duration

We only store personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes or as required by law. Log data is regularly deleted after a short period; correspondence from contact requests is deleted after completion of processing and in compliance with statutory retention obligations.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data. Please note that communication by e-mail may generally involve security risks.

User responsibility & liability

By using the forms or sending information, you decide for yourself about the type and scope of the data transmitted. You are responsible for the content of your submissions and must ensure that no third-party rights are violated. Disclaimer: To the extent legally permissible, we accept no liability for consequences arising from data transmissions initiated by you, from input errors, or from the use of the provided calculators/tools.
Note Switzerland (Art. 100 OR) / Germany (§ 309 No. 7 BGB): A limitation of liability for intent/gross negligence as well as for personal injury is not permitted.

Your rights

No obligation to provide personal data

Use of the website is generally possible without providing personal data. If you do not wish to transmit data, please refrain from using forms/e-mails or anonymize your request.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

Swiss law applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of other countries remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction – as far as permissible – is Bern, Switzerland.

Changes

We may adapt this privacy policy if necessary. The current version is authoritative.
